Overview
The UTB18 Capra 4WD Unlimited Trail Buggy brings the go-anywhere grit of Axial rock crawling rigs to a groundbreaking 1/18 scale size. Easily affordable and fully ready-to-run, the UTB18 enables anyone, with or without RC experience, to enjoy the unlimited scale trail experience even in locations with limited area for crawling. Its proven design is also plenty capable of giving mini competition enthusiasts an immediate edge.
The UTB18 is similar in design to the popular 1/10 scale Axial Capra 1.9 4WD Unlimited Trail Buggy and has a scaled-down Capra tube chassis. Like the larger trail buggy, the UTB18 also has portal axles to provide extra ground clearance for maneuvering. Add in its axle-mounted, low profile 1/10 scale servo for quick, strong steering and the durable 4-link suspension system, and the UTB18 is ready to prove that size has nothing to do with crawling performance.
Plus, this mightiest of mini trail buggies is now updated with the latest Spektrum electronics. In addition to a Spektrum SLT2 2.4GHz radio, the UTB18 comes with a Spektrum 2-in-1 ESC/receiver unit, Spektrum 2S Smart G2 LiPo battery, and Spektrum Smart USB LiPo battery charger. It’s even easier to use than before, and the value of the RTR package is better than ever.
Perfect for indoor and outdoor crawling, the UTB18 delivers impressive performance on the rocks, climbing rock ledges, flexing over obstacles, and squeezing through tight notches. Officially licensed Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires mounted to officially licensed Raceline Monster wheels give it the grip to conquer rocky trails, rough dirt tracks, and most other off-road surfaces. Body panels with licensed livery, helmeted driver and passenger figures, LED lights and more combine for realistic scale looks to match its crawling capabilities.
With its distinctive Capra trail buggy looks, high-end performance, and exceptional value, the fully assembled and equipped Axial UTB18 is an ideal RC crawler for all ages and skill levels. Get yours and add some adventure to your life!

READY TO RUN
In addition to a Spektrum SLT2 2.4GHz radio, the fully assembled and equipped UTB18 now also comes with a Spektrum 2-1 ESC/receiver unit, Spektrum 2S Smart G2 LiPo battery, and Spektrum Smart USB LiPo battery charger. Everything you need to start crawling is included in the box.

UNIQUE 1/18 SCALE
Similar to the popular Capra 1.9 Unlimited Trail Buggy but in 1/18 scale, the UTB18 enables anyone to afford an easily portable, highly capable crawler that delivers the ultimate scale trail experience even in locations with limited area for crawling.

CAPRA TUBE CHASSIS DESIGN
By reproducing the proven 1/10 scale Capra tube chassis design in 1/18 scale, Axial gives the UTB18 the same realistic trail buggy looks as well as optimum clearance over rugged terrain.

PORTAL AXLES
The UTB18 includes portal axles that increase ground clearance at the differential and deliver the best crawling performance.

1/10 SCALE AXLE MOUNTED LOW PROFILE SERVO
Like the setups used by most competition crawlers, the UTB18 has an axle-mounted servo that contributes to a lower center of gravity and allows better steering control in full articulation.

ALL-METAL FRONT UNIVERSALS AND REAR AXLES
Axial universals provide smooth action and 45 degrees of steering angle for an efficient, higher performing drivetrain. The universal is made of machined steel for durability.

4-LINK SUSPENSION
Axial has fine-tuned the UTB18 suspension geometry to provide the best crawling capabilities. The lower links are stainless steel for increased performance and durability.

OFFICIALLY LICENSED TIRES AND WHEELS
Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires on Raceline Monster black composite wheels find a secure grip on dirt, rocks, and all other off-road trails, providing realistic scale looks and serious trail performance.

REALISTIC INTERIOR
The interior inside the licensed livery body panels features helmeted driver and passenger figures plus other realistic details that add to the UTB18 rig’s authentic 1/18 scale crawler looks.

LED HEADLIGHTS, LIGHT BAR, AND ROCK LIGHTS
Axial highlights the 1/18 scale realism with working LED headlights, light bar, and forward facing rock lights for crawling after the sun sets.

Fun truck, but the battery life is shorter than I expected. Had to charge twice during one afternoon run. Still solid for the price, just manage your runtime expectations.

Awesome ready-to-run package. Battery life is solid, and the controller feels responsive. Took it to a local rock crawling event and got tons of compliments. Holds up well under stress and looks fantastic doing it.

Solid build quality and looks awesome in person. Had a minor issue with the antenna tube coming loose after a few runs, but otherwise runs great. Easy to set up and fun to drive for both beginners and experienced hobbyists.

Looks like a tank, drives like a dream. Took it through mud, sand, and even a kiddie pool (don’t ask). Still going strong. If you're into RC adventures, this is your gateway drug.

Been into RCs for years and this one stands out. The articulation is excellent, tires grip even on wet rocks, and the electronics seem well sealed. No regrets buying this model. Runs great after sunset too with added lights.

Runs great, climbs like a mountain goat, but lost a small screw after a hard landing. Nothing major, but keep a toolkit handy. Overall, a ridiculously fun machine for any off-road fan.

It’s fun and looks cool, but took a bit to calibrate the steering. Works fine now though. Good for intermediate users who don’t mind minor tweaks.
Prof.***********n DDS
Super fun out of the box, but took a little tweaking to get the steering just right. Once dialed in? Pure joy. Great for weekend trail bashing without breaking the bank.

Upgraded from a cheaper model and wow—what a difference. The realism, power, and control are night and day. Even my dog barks at it now. 10/10 would recommend for adult kids like me.

The detail on this rig is impressive—realistic design, strong motor, and great suspension. Took it through mud and rocks and didn’t miss a beat. Highly recommend for any crawler fan.
