What You’ll Need:
- LiPo Battery
Traxxas recommends a 4-cell 14.8 V Power Cell LiPo battery for maximum performance. A 3-cell 11.1 V LiPo battery will operate the vehicle with reduced performance. NiMH batteries are not supported.
- LiPo Balance Charger with iD™
Traxxas EZ-Peak® Live 4s-capable charger is recommended for easy and fast charging performance (model 2971).
- AA Alkaline Batteries
Four AA alkaline batteries for the transmitter.

Solid build and much better than the original chassis. Handles bumps and landings smoothly. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because assembly took a bit longer than expected.

Solid build and amazing performance right out of the box. My son loves it for backyard racing and jumping. Charges fast and runs for a good 25+ minutes on a single battery. Easy to control and durable enough to survive some hard crashes.

Just got the TRAXXAS MAXX V2 Extended Chassis and wow, it’s a beast! Super stable at high speeds and handles rough terrain like no other. The extended frame makes a big difference in jumps and landings. Took it out on dirt trails and rocky paths—no issues at all. Assembly was straightforward, and it’s holding up great so far. Definitely worth the upgrade if you’re into serious off-roading.
